I saw someone had a version of Opera listed that did work, but it was 9.something beta; I just installed Opera 8.52 and it works great as well. The resizing of pages works, but it also tries to resize images, which tends to make things look choppy

Messenger Live Doesn't work mostly. I can install it, but it doesn't seem to see an internet connection. I keep on gettins connection error. I did exclude it from firewall, Defender,.. but with no result.

Yeah, it installed fine for me. I uninstalled it to try and get the video drivers working, but that didn't help anything towards that end.

I've had 3 BSOD's trying to install it and I'm not ready to try again. Vista says it's a device driver problem, but "can't tell me" which one................ok
I tried looking for the log, but it was gone/renamed; my system specs are below

I'll just stick w/Yahoo toolbar for now

I installed Google Toolbar right after I installed Vista. It's always the first thing I install after AV. It has always worked fine and it does now. I also use Yahoo Toolbar. Both work with no issues.

Maybe I'll try it again, although I am more skeptical it would work now with having other programs running in background like Sidebar, but hey! I can take a few more BSOD's..............lol

Well, the best thing to do is install it with nothing running in the background. Personally, I didn't turn anything off at all. But your best bet is to shut that stuff down.
