Programs that work or don't [Discussion] - Vista CTP 5270

This thread is for discussion of Programs that work or don't in Windows Vista December CTP Build 5270.

If you have want to submit a working or not working program to our list of Programs for this build, please post in the Programs that work or don't - Windows Vista CTP Build 5270 thread. Once the program has been added to the list, your original post in that thread will be merged into this thread to promote discussion and to help keep the Program list thread easy to navigate.

Doesn't work (doesn't even extract for installation):

NOD32
NOD32 Enterprise ---neither will even extract (says "cannot create file xxxx")
Avast --- try to install, says "An error 740 (000002E4) has occurred. last performed operation was: spawning"

List Updated

I also got NOD32 to install, although I lost net connectivity until I disabled IMON. Also, if you are running Outlook 12 it is a good idea to disable EMON as this causes some issues in Outlook.

I got VB .NET 05 Express edition working, I didnt try the web install I have had bad experinces with that so I use the manual install avalible from MS.
Be nice to nerds.... chances are you will end up working for one

Need for Speed: Most Wanted works after installing it, although I had to copy the files to the hard drive to install it as it didn't want to work off of the dvd.
