I hated XP edition of Office, but 2003 was good and IMO 2007 will be better. I wish you could switch between layout... new users will miss the drop down menus.

2k is the most stable one so far in my experience, but the extra features of 2k3 more than make up for the slight retro-compatibility issues with the earlier versions. ;)

2k7 just seems to be a lot too noisy ...

Well the seitch for me will be easier. I have been using MS Office 2004 for Mac and the formatting pane stays up all the time. Anyway, it just seems easier to switch and I like 2007 way better than 2003.

Okay, I have read all the post concerning the installation of Office 2007. When I tried to installed it on my machine, I pressed upgrade and it started to install and just froze. I had to do a system restore to get back to my Office 2003. I shut down all of the items that I think could be causing the problem. A window keeps popping up asking me to close a program, but it will not specify which program. Anyhow, could someone please post an installation instruction (upgrade) for this.

Thanks.

Well, if you're having issues like that, just uninstall the 2k3 and do a clean install of the 2k7 Beta ...
