Erm, Michael Connell ring a bell? I won't push it, just something to ponder about at the lack of mainstream news coverage of this. :whistle ;) :seeno: I won't say anything more because then I'd have to ban myself.;)

Well it looks like we'll have our first White Christmas (at least at my current elevation) for the first time in probably decades. After two straight weeks of sub-freezing temperatures it might get up to 35-37 on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day... but that's not gonna be enough to melt 6" of snow (especially if it gets back down to freezing at night.

Yup Brian, I have a couple of friends in Oregon and they've got snow too, not as much as you though, one is in Eugene and the other in Roseburg. I believe the last time you had cold and snow was some 12 years ago.

Well up north we get snow a bit more frequently than Southern Oregon. We've had snow probably 4 of the last 6 years (give or take), but nowhere near as much, or as long as we have had this current batch of snow.

Down in Southern Oregon though, they don't really get snow (basically anywhere from Salem south didn't get the latest batch.)

It sure is sleepy around here this morning! It's been nice and cool where I am for a change but no rain for a few days now.

I took my pup for a good long walk in the bush yesterday afternoon so he could chase rabbit and guinea fowl to his hearts content

LMAO I don't think he'd actually know what to do with one if he caught it, which is highly unlikely anyway because he's had his tail cut, so he's lost his "rudder"

Well, I'm whapped out now as it's 10PM and the end of a good Christmas Day, had a few drams of single malt and some great food. I got aggressive and tried to install Ubuntu x64 in VMWare but couldn't get it to connect. A good project for a sober and well rested brain. ;)
