I'm waiting for the first official Beta. I've got a copy of an early release courtesy of a friend but it required the BIOS date settings to be reversed so I haven't played with it much.

Hey, your posting here made me remember it was great to come here and say hi or to just let folks know one is signing off for the day or night or whatever :yesnod:

So see ya later folks, I'm about to start my day - it's heading for 8.30 am Sunday morning here :)

Morning Kev, woke up to a nice blizzard today, the first 'official' day of winter, -16C/2F up to 8 inches of blowing snow, and the winds aren't too strong only 15MPH. About the only good thing about today is the days will get longer from now on.

We had already gotten the snow, and now the temp is down a couple more degrees, and wind has picked up a little more, so it is really feeling cold.

We just had a mighty electrical storm right overhead. The first few crashes of lightning and thunder woke me and I jumped up and went to unplug my router and PC. Within minutes there was a strike and I heard the ADSL line outside the window go THIT! In the past I've even had sparks fly on my desk!

It gets a bit tiresome unplugging everything when there's lightning but I've lost quite a few surge protectors, router power adapters and network cards so it's worth the hassle. No fried system yet thank goodness.

So it's just past midnight here and now I'm wide half awake and about to get my second coffee so there's no chance of sleep for a few more hours now
