Today the first build of Redstone 6 was released to Windows Insiders who have opted in to Skip Ahead. The new code name for Redstone builds now is 19H1.

This one is: Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18204 (19H1).

There are a few new "Spotlight" images that are primarily used on ones lock screen.

The Microsoft official announcement was a joint announcement w/ the RS5 release that happened today also.

What’s new in Build 18237 (*this one is kind-of cool)

Bringing acrylic to the Windows sign-in screen

With today’s flight we’re adding acrylic, a type of brush from the Fluent Design System, to the sign-in screen background. The translucent texture of this transient surface helps you focus on the sign-in task by moving the actionable controls up in the visual hierarchy while maintaining their accessibility.

Today, we are releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18252 (19H1) to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring AND those who have opted in to Skip Ahead. Going forward, Insiders in the Fast ring and in Skip Ahead will receive the same 19H1 Insider Preview builds at the same time. As is normal with builds early in the development cycle, builds may contain bugs that might be painful for some (Which means read the known issues below!). If this makes you uncomfortable, you may want to consider switching to the Slow ring. Slow ring builds will continue to be higher quality. If your PC automatically takes this build before you switch your rings, you can roll-back and then switch rings.
