Yesterday I snagged a copy of Windows 'S' (cloud) x64 build 15063

It installed in VMware workstation 11 w/ Windows 10 x64 host off a DVD.

This OS is not much good for testing or even running applications that are not from the MS Store.
So needless to say I couldn't even install VMware tools to be able to drag & drop anything from host to client.

What I read it is locked down to protect the user (students, businesses) from malware.

Today (7/25/2017) Microsoft announced:

Skip Ahead for Windows Insiders in the Fast Ring

Starting today, Windows Insiders in the Fast ring will see a new drop-down in their flight settings via Settings > Update & security > Windows Insider Program to skip ahead to the next release of Windows 10.
We are now at the stage in the development cycle for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update where we’re working hard to bash all the bugs and stabilize so it’s the best Windows 10 release yet for all our customers. As we work to prepare the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for the world, our engineering teams are beginning work on the next release of Windows 10 from our Development Branch. Windows Insiders in the Fast ring who choose to skip ahead will be given the opportunity to start trying out these builds in additionto receiving app updates again for many of the inbox apps in Windows 10 such as Photos, Skype, Groove, and Movies & TV.

>snip<

Before choosing to skip ahead – there are a few things to keep in mind: builds from RS_PRERELEASE will get less stable as teams start checking in new code. So just like Insider Preview builds usually are after a Windows 10 release, things will likely be a little rough. If this concerns you or makes you uncomfortable – don’t choose to skip ahead and simply wait for the Fast ring to transition back to RS_PRERELEASE down the road. We also need to have Windows Insiders in the Fast ring helping us get the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ready and giving us feedback on issues they are experiencing. So there will be a limit as to how many Windows Insiders can skip ahead. Once that limit is met, the UI on the flight settings page will notify Windows Insiders trying to choose to skip ahead that it’s been closed.

*I went for it ^*^

Today Microsoft released a new Windows 10 Redstone 3 WU update build to insiders.
This time its Build 16251
These past 2-3 builds have installed differently than previously, works ok for me just kind of drags at 75, 76,77 & 85% of the install, sometimes for quite awhile.

*Note from Dona Sarkar @donasarkar

Build 16273 Flighting Update for PC
We have some updates for Windows Insiders on how we’ll be releasing new builds going forward for the next couple of months.

As explained when we introduced Skip Ahead, we have “forked” the release into its own branch we call “RS3_RELEASE”. Many Windows Insiders will recall we did the same thing for the Windows 10 Creators Update when we started flighting builds from the “RS2_RELEASE” branch. Insiders in the Fast ring have been getting new builds from this branch over the last few weeks now. We are now at the point of the development cycle for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update where our focus is now on stabilization for release to the world. This means that we intend to release these builds to Insiders more quickly to both the Fast and Slow rings as these builds we include mostly bug fixes.

For Insiders who joined Skip Ahead, we will continue to release builds from the RS_PRERELEASE branch but they won’t be released at the same pace as builds from RS3_RELEASE. Since we are just now beginning development for RS4, Insiders will soon notice a jump in build numbers just like we did early in RS3. Also because we are just beginning development for RS4, Insiders shouldn’t expect to see a lot of big changes or new features just yet. Our engineering teams remain focused on getting the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ready for release. This remains our priority.

Skip Ahead is now full so if you try to join, it will let you know that in the Settings app. But don’t worry! Once the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is released, Skip Ahead goes away and all Insiders in the Fast ring will get moved back to the RS_PRERELEASE branch for RS4.
