Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
UPDATE 12/2: We are getting ready to start releasing PC builds to Insiders using UUP. To prepare for this, we are going to pause all PC builds for both the Fast and Slow rings starting this evening (Friday 12/2). We will begin flighting the latest builds via UUP starting with our internal rings first then to Insiders based on each ring’s promotion criteria. We’re excited to be able to release builds for PC to Insiders using UUP! Mobile builds are not impacted by this.

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
Wednesday 12/7/2016 a new Redstone build was released to insiders.
It is build 14986
This one took a long time to download for me & the ESD was not in the usual place so it is more difficult to save it.
After running "disk cleanup" , a few restarts & leaving it alone for awhile I ran several of my usual tests on it, all were successful including DualBootPro v1.1

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
No new builds I read until 2017.
I did install a Windows Update Cumulative Update KB3206309 (for build 14986) today & it used up exactly 5GB to the hard drive free space
After running disk cleanup I did recover 300MB (.3GB) of space only
The apps I have tested on this latest build all run fine, no complaints.

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
Friday 12/23/2016 build 14997 x64 Enterprise leaked to the internet.
Build string:
10.0.14997.1001.rs_onecore_base.161218-0833_amd64fre_client-enterprise_volume_en-us
I downloaded & installed it yesterday on test rig 2 in VMware 11.1, the install went fast (45 minutes) even though I only allocated 2GB of memory to the virtual drive.
Had a problem when installing the VMware tools though.

As with all leaked builds, you should be very skeptical of installing this. Keep in mind that there's a reason that it wasn't offered to Insiders, and it could cause your system to be unstable. In fact, you might even have to do a clean install with an official build in order to continue receiving new ones.

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
Today another Windows 10 x64 Enterprise build leaked to the internet, this one is only the .WIM file so its not so easy to install.
Build 15002 x64 Enterprise
I found someone that jumped through around 20 hoops & installed it in Hyper-V Generation 2 & was offering the .vhdx file so I grabbed that.
The setup was relative easy & it did run.
here is a screen from the desktop of the build info.

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
Today 1/9/2017 a new Redstone Professional build was released to insiders.
It is build 15002, there are a lot of improvements, check out the link below.
MS has removed the MS Paint app from the start menu again & the uninstalling 3D Builder app this time doesn't restore MS Paint like it did previously. I figured out how to get MS Paint back again though w/ a little creative thinking.

Re: Windows 10 - New Redstone builds after .RS1
Yesterday 1/27/2017 MS released a new update to the Windows 10 Insiders preview.
This time its Build 15019
During my update install through Windows Update I got stuck for 45 minutes on a new setup feature that the window says its "initializing updates..."
I restarted the PC & tried again, this time it sat there for 22 minutes then started the download & install (the install went faster than previously, for me)
