Windows 10 - Redstone
Yesterday the first build of the Windows 10 Redstone was released to "insiders" set at receiving updates on the "fast" ring.
This first Redstone given to insiders is build 11082 & is very much like the last Windows 10 Th2 build 10586 (last RTM of Win10).
By now I'm sure it has been leaked on the internet.
I used Windows Update to download & installed a copy on the Test Rig1, it took a bit longer to install than Th2 did.

Re: Windows 10 - Redstone
Another fast ring Redstone build was released last week - build 14257.rs1
more news on the MS rings was released today:
A new 3rd Ring has been added to Insider Program (Release Preview Ring)
Introducing the Release Preview Ring:
Today we are introducing a new ring named the Windows Insider Release Preview ring for both PC and mobile. The Release Preview ring will focus on Insiders that want to stay on the Current Branch (currently builds based off of 10586), but continue to receive early access to updates, application updates, and driver updates.
The 3 Windows Insider rings are:
•Fast – Best for Insiders who enjoy being the first to get access to builds and feature updates, with some risk to their devices in order to identify issues, and provide suggestions and ideas to make Windows software and devices great.
•Slow – Best for Insiders who enjoy getting early access to builds and feature updates, with less risk to their devices, and still want to provide feedback to make Windows software and devices great.
•Release Preview – Best for Insiders who enjoy getting early access to updates for the Current Branch, Microsoft applications, and drivers, with minimal risk to their devices, and still want to provide feedback to make Windows devices great.
note: Windows Insiders in the Fast and Slow rings will continue to receive builds from the Development Branch, but the Release Preview ring will offer access to Current Branch builds shortly before they make their way to 'real world' users via Windows Update.

Re: Windows 10 - Redstone
We (insiders) got a couple of builds (incl build 10471) since the above post.
Yesterday we received via WU, build 14279, the fixes are on the "Insiders Hub" that is included w/ all the builds.
This one something obviously new is that MS changed the logon screen, its now the lock screen image that (the text, time, etc.) slides up & the logon box is applied over the same image.
My apps all were all transferred over automatically & are working, including the one I bought from the MS Store.

Fixed issues:
• We fixed the issue where on some PCs with TPM chips, such as the ASUS Zenbook UX31, you may have experienced glitchy audio and jumpy movement when using the trackpad due to the “tpm-maintenance” task running constantly in the background instead of once per boot-up like it should.
• We fixed the issue where if you use Hyper-V and have a Virtual Switch configured for your network adapter, you might see an error indicator (red-colored “X”) for your network adapter in the notification area of your taskbar.
• We polished the Wi-Fi flyout UI and fixed an issue where text entry into a Wi-Fi password field was noticeably top-aligned rather than centered.
• We fixed an issue for where when using multiple monitors and full-screen apps like PowerPoint or Remote Desktop would crash Windows Explorer.
• We fixed an issue where Cortana wasn’t showing Settings pages in the search results.
• We have updated the Windows Update notification after updates have been installed so now clicking on the notification will take you straight to your update history.
• We fixed an issue where desktop (Win32) apps pinned to the Start menu would sometimes move after updating to a new build.
• We fixed an issue where “Update and Restart” and “Update and Shut Down” wouldn’t start an update.
Known issues:
• The Visual Studio emulator for Windows 10 Mobile and Hololens will fail with “An authentication error has occurred. The Local Security Authority cannot be contacted”. If you are a developer and require the emulator for building apps, we suggesting moving to the Slow ring and skipping this build until we can fix this issue.
• We continue to investigate issues with Narrator and other screen reader apps that make them unable to read selected text in the Feedback Hub, Cortana, and other apps.
• In Microsoft Edge, some large downloads may appear to get stuck at 99% completion. You can work around this issue by renaming the file in your downloads after closing Microsoft Edge. This workaround skips security checks on the file, so it should be used only with files from a trusted source.
• In some cases, attempting to turn on Developer Mode on may crash the Settings app. If this happens, the workaround is to use these steps here to enable Developer Mode.
• Some apps notifications may only show the icon – however the full text of the notification will be visible within Action Center.

Re: Windows 10 - Redstone
Another fast ring Redstone build was released yesterday (4/22/2016) - build 14328.rs1
I used Windows Update to update from build 14316, there is a new (old) looking install window since the last update. Gone is the Updating Windows blue line extending around a round sphere w/ black background, now one gets the basic installing updates screen (1/3, 2/3, etc.).
The apps I have installed (& were moved over to this new build automatically) are working fine, even the Lytro Desktop application appears to work faster w/ the weak video card I have on the Test Rig compared to Win 10 RTM x64 w/ the same weak video card.
