Need to read hard drive

Need to read hard drive

Postby Chippychap » Thu Feb 27, 2014 3:20 pm

Hi Guys, My PC is kaput so I bought one from PC World in the UK.
As my old pc had my backup hd I just expected to fit that hd to my new pc to retrieve the data.
Unfotunately the new pc has no provision for a 2nd hd, no sata socket on mobo and no spare power ribbon connector.
Any ideas?

you could try finding an external drive housing , insert old drive in it and usb it to new machine and get your stuff off it.
