I snagged the x86 & x64 .ISOs from TechNet also.
Installing took awhile as I had to jump thru around 6 hoops to get past the "MS account" setup, finally did though & am using a local account like I previously have.
I also was finally able to install .NET 2.0 & 3.0 through the WU (choice), so PRO's DBP 1.1 installed in (W7) compatibility mode & runs great!
A few new images (beta fish for 1) & easy to setup a custom Start screen.
Are you talking about Windows Live or whatever it is called when you refer to "MS account"?

Re: Windows (code name) Blue - New information
Been on it since yesterday afternoon, like it so far too.
I'm going to see if I can't get something like my start button toolbar trick to work inside the new start button, hopefully it will be as simple as just locating where the new start folder is located in W8.1 and C'n'Ping some stuff into its location ...

Sorry for the naughty h-word, JD & Graham -- it's starting to be *that* long since I was a Mod and knew what to avoid like second nature ...

Yesterday the Enterprise flavor of the Windows 8.1 Preview was made available @ TechNet
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/eval ... 37246.aspx
1) Review the Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview system requirements.
2) Register, then download and install the full-featured preview software. The Enterprise Preview expires January 14, 2014.
3) Receive two emails: one with resources to guide you and one with a notification of the next release.
*I downloaded the x86 & x64 but have not installed either yet.
Edit I just checked my email from TN/MS (#3 above) & links included.
here is a little more info on the different flavors of Windows 8.1
What are the differences between Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 Pro, and Windows 8.1 Enterprise?
Windows 8.1 is the basic edition for home users. It includes the core feature set that home users require but does not include key business features, such as support for the ability to join domains, process Group Policy, and so on. Windows 8.1 Pro is for small- and medium-sized businesses. It provides enhanced features that help to easily connect to company networks, access files on the go, encrypt data, and more. Last, Windows 8.1 Enterprise edition is available through Windows Software Assurance. It includes all the capabilities of Windows 8.1 Pro, plus premium features such as Windows To Go, DirectAccess, BranchCache, AppLocker, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and Windows 8 app deployment.
