The downloads are up now ^*^

I snagged the x86 & x64 at the same time (actually all 3 of them) & got quite decent speed.

Edit Here is the size & names of the downloads offered today.
Windows Developer Preview with developer tools English, 64-bit (x64) - 4.8 GB
Windows Developer Preview English, 64-bit (x64) - 3.6 GB
Windows Developer Preview English, 32-bit (x86) - 2.8 GB

This build sure does have a lot of new stuff in it.

Its going to take a little getting use to.
Suppose I should read the "Windows_Developer_Preview-Windows8_guide.pdf" :yesnod:

For those of you who are not familiar with betas, please make a back-up first as this install will not uninstall. I haven't tried it yet but that's what MS says.

Good advise Algis ^*^
Or don't install it on your Main PC, use a test rig or VPC.

The Developer Preview (DP) x64 took 16 minutes to install on the dual core test rig.

Ditto :yesnod:
Next Purchase, I suppose.

I found that sometimes one can hover their mouse pointer on the taskbar start button & a pop-up will rise-up & then one can choose the search button to get at the Start Menu applications. It doesn't always pop-up though, a bug I suppose.
