Re: Windows 8 Build 7989 Install & Testing
I found that one loses all the Windows 8 Restore Points when booting into Windows 7 then back into Windows 8
Windows 8 Restore Points before booting into Windows 7
Windows 8 Restore Points after booting into Windows 7, I hate it when it does that.

Re: Windows 8 Build 7989 Install & Testing
I wanted to try out Windows 8 Portable Workspace but from what I’ve been reading it only works in an Enterprise edition.
2 – Enterprise builds that have leaked; M1 7850 (client enterprise 100922) & M3 7959 (server enterprise110307). I’m not sure if either will install anymore w/o setting the BIOS date back.
One of the most highly anticipated features, discovered in an early build of Windows 8 — the portable workspace, allowing you to effectively put Windows on a USB stick. On the other hand, it looks more likely to become an enterprise only feature, and further limited to those with a USB stick or external hard drive that is at least 16GB in size. However, already this could give an early indication of the final hard drive memory footprint of the upcoming operating system.
