Thoughts on MS System Sweeper?

Thoughts on MS System Sweeper?

This was recently released (Rather quietly for some reason) by MS as an x86/x64 package where you can create a bootable USB flash or CD.

My experience is limited to a single x86 boot; it was a Sony VAIO turd laptop and BELIEVE the disclaimer from the System Sweeper before it starts....... it WILL take several hours to do a full scan. My scan came up clean, but at what time cost? I could have offline slaved the drive to my desktop and had it pronounced clean using 3 programs I like to use in such cases, many hours before the System Sweeper finished. Maybe this VAIO was an unusual case, but not so sure........... :geek:
