First about your CPU, I really can't say anything about the E6300, you'll just have to see if it's a bottleneck or not. The good news is that you can upgrade to a quad if needed as that mobo supports it.ChristianM wrote:well guys thanks for your replies, i understand that i need atleast 600w PSU for gtx260, ok i upgrade my PSU to 600w but what about my pentium E6300? is it enough? or should i go with xfx hd4850? also, augie, can you recommend me any eVGA GPU for around $120 please, i want nvidia and i like xfx but as we know xfx done with nvidia. i have NO plans for SLI nor OC. thanks.
As to the GPU, I like the GTX 550tI for the price/performance and it uses less power/less heat than the 2xx thru 4xx series. Your 500W PSU would be able to power that card.

I don't know as I didn't find any info, talk to a newegg rep first, also ask the rep about how much amps that card needs from the 12V rails.
