OK didn't wait for the reply did it but its interesting it seems that the system is booting but there's no video could this be because of the low power output from the power supply or it means that the video card is dead?

Ya, PSU is too weak. That's a pair of 9800GT's you got in there. When I ran a couple of 9800GT's, they only worked with my Antec Earthwatts 500W or above. Using a cheap PSU at that wattage could kill your rig. Try a Corsair CX600W, that will last you forever. Good luck man. I'm not sure if the card is dead, just that you don't have enough power.

Heck, even a single 9800GT would not boot with a good 450W PSU in my case. They were just not designed for that kind of power draw.

It's probably the power or lack of it. That card I believe needs a minimum of 600W power supply.

Maybe you can test the card in a friends PC if they have the PSU requirements, so that you know it works before you lay out the bucks for a new PSU.

Ya, I second trying out the card first. This is my PSU but it might be expensive in your area. Your call as long as it has a pair of 6-pin connectors if you can't afford that. How many Litas did you pay for the card?

Sorry but you now threw out a new issue so now I can't say anything because of your mobo. What I can say is the CX should work but make sure it has the 12V+ amps needed, I'm sure it does but it doesn't hurt taking a second look considering the money involved here. I just looked at the conversion factor between our currencies and I see why it costs 200 Litas for the CX.

1 Canadian Dollar (CAD) = 2.45453 Lithuanian Litas (LTL)
which sounds about right. As to your GX2, that sounds about right too for an old board as the regular shops over here don't even sell it anymore though it's still a good video card for $45 CDN.

I was quite embarrassed when I went to your parduotuve site(means store folks) and saw how much of the language I've lost over the years. :embarrassed: Oh well, that's life.;)

That doesn't make any sense man! Before you try to upgrade your BIOS, check the change logs first. If they don't mention your issue between your version and the newest one then don't even bother trying as it's not the issue.
