You might try reseating the video card to see if that helps, or remove it entirely reboot with any other video card and then remove the drivers for the GeForce card and reinstall the GeForce card to see if that helps


I know a guy who can fix computer components like this (he's an IT guy at a place I work at over the summer). I think he has special equipment that let's him figure out which pieces are bad. Better off to just get a new card, unless you know somebody who can fix it for you.

i found a cheat Nvidia Geforce 9600 1GB ram i think ill discard the bad video card and buy a new one thanks for the advice =] but still my keyboard problem isint solved :-? it still presses keys randomly on it own :bashhead its really annoying

I'm having a similar problem with my own keyboard in W7, though in my case it's the number pad that tends to act up.

But it does occasionally launch Windows features independently.

Mouse too, sometimes but fairly rarely.

It *feels* like misbehaving drivers, but that's a pretty meaningless notion in the practical sense :whistle

Out of interest, what keyboards do you guys use? It would help the evidence for bad drivers if you guys were using the same keyboard.

I use a Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro, the keyboard is one of those curved dudes which I love with my arthritis
