Replacing damaged motherboard and help please
I am replacing m2n78-la with m4a785-m I can't figure where it goes 1394 cable and power panel doesn't fit right,could u help me please?ty

Both motherboards have a 24 pin power connection, does your power supply have a 24 pin connector

Are you talking about the connection for the HDD led power switch etc. I have had to change those around, and even completely redo them with new separate plastic connector sleeves for lack of a better term, should be available at like radio shack if you have one near

Ok, I got the cables from "micro center" it comes with HDD LED,RESET SW,POWER LED,SLEEP LED,POWER SW.Now ,they r one power switch from hp (damaged one) and 2 lights ,one for power and for hdd(right) and can I take the pins out of old ones and put in the new ones and don't worry about reset and others?By the way the hdd led place is the IDE that says on motherboard?

you can use like a straight pin and slide it along the side of the plastic piece and it should release it

Hello there,I finally finished but my fans r a little louder on the other motherboard was quieter than this and i can't update BIOS it cannot connect to their site.Maybe I get new case like urs to run it quiet.lol
