What Graphics card will my old PC run?

What Graphics card will my old PC run?

Hi Guys, I'm running an older PC but would still like to squeeze out a little extra fizz from it.

This is the beastie.

The one with the 1961 MoBo.

Apparently the on-board graphics steals 32Mb from the system so would like to use a powered card.

Firstly, will it make a difference?

Secondly, the machine is about 4-5 years old, is there a "hidden gem" of a card that would light the whole thing up?

Apparently the machine is configured for an AGP card, I am ashamed to say I do not really understand the term.

Is AGP an internal configuration or is it another type of slot, like PCI?

Any ideas?

My MoBo

I presume that means my AGP is 8x.

Does that mean it is compatible with the 8x cards on Fleabay?

It appears to have a slot for a AGP card, so I would say yes
