Did you click it today, I changed it to the Invictus 1024 X 768 background, just watched that movie yesterday, it was pretty good.

Yep,

Looks good.

My RA is broken again, getting a HTTP 404 Not Found error, & (if I mess w/ the URL) I end-up @ the login for the router page :-x
I guess thats my payback for shutting the machine off last night :pc

Thinking about resetting the router again.

Reset your router
Set your Vail machine static IP even tho your running DHCP
and port forward your router to that machine.

I have 30+ GB of music files in the Music - Shared Folder on WHS Vail.
The music & videos do stream fine using the RA.

Tonight I thought I’d try downloading a page of them.
Here is how it works:

Log on remotely to the WHS & browse to the Music folder & click @ the box to select all the files on that page, then click the Download button, in the next window I chose the compressed .zip file choice.
Image

Then chose the Save button in the next window

I got great Dl speed but sadly (@ 13 minutes time) it got stuck @ 71% 7.03GB of 10GB copied.
Image

Being a patient guy I waited & waited & after 50 minutes I was automatically logged off the WHS, still Dl stuck @ 71%

I didn’t see in the Release Notes mentioning a 7 GB maximum download size.

I checked the website pictures folder & 1 of the folders has 13 pictures in it so I tried the slide show to view them.

That worked good

The new Microsoft Security Essentials Beta (on Connect) provides Anti Virus, Spyware & etc protection for Vail now.

Tonight I signed-up & downloaded the 64-bit flavor & installed it on my copy of WHS Vail.
The install was a bit slow, probably took about 7-8 minutes (maybe because I was taking screenys all the way through?) & after a PC restart I noticed it had already updated the virus & spyware definitions so I ran a quick scan... no problems ^*^

The Real time protection is working & I left the settings alone for now.

Here are a couple of screenys.

Edit: Oh ya, my RA still works so that the MS SE didn't mess that up. I suppose next I need to try backing up one of the PC's.

A new "Preview Refresh" build has been added to the list of downloads @ connect today ^*^

There is a list of the "What changed" somewhere too.

I'm @ work atm but will snag a copy of the new build tonight.
