Windows Home Server code name "Vail" Public Prev, RC & RTM
Re: Windows Home Server code name "Vail" Public Preview is now a
I was thinking its not secure but going through my old screenys they all appear to be secure, it use to be accessible w/o having to log on though.
Here is my old WHS page before they gave out the home server.com URLs.
This is similar to what I wanting to setup again.
It'll take some work but probably can be done.
Need to start w/ the Log on window to a button instead.

I think it is under "Setup remote access" where you can change the background of the login webpage, but I don't know what kind of image it will take, I have tried jpg and it didn't work

Yes yours looks nice and clean, how did you get rid of the lines and how did you position your picture, I didn't see anywhere to do that.

Thanks Daniel
I used the layout tip & found a picture that was light in the middle, then resized it to 800 pix. wide, it ended up 472 pix. high which is close to what they recommend (800x500).
I wonder what would happen if one tried using a 900x600 picture, just get rejected?
My RA to the Main Rig desktop looks a bit like safe mode w/ the black back ground & the desktop icons rearranged.

I shut down the WHS machine so here is what my WHS Vail home page looks like.
One can also change the logo & add links here according to the Customize choices.
