Windows 7 computer with Windows 98 dual boot
I want to buy a Windows 7 computer but have old expensive software that won't work on it. I want to partition the hard drive and install a cloned copy of a hard drive with Windows 98 SE and all my programs and files. Will I be able to boot to the Win 98 hard drive and run my programs?
Re: Windows 7 computer with Windows 98 dual boot
It will not work due to you have a newer computer and 98 has been installed on an older system. Drivers will be missing and it will not be a clean legal install of 98.
