Yeah that's the same, after taxes and shipping it comes out to be around 840

Really would have wanted a lighter Asus model, but just about all theirs with the i7's are 1200 or over

Not a bad deal, but personally a 17" laptop is way too big for me. I like 14" and if I need more power, I will settle for 15". Anything bigger than that and I will get a desktop. Again, my personal preference, and may not work for people that use a laptop as their primary PC.

They had this Dell Studio 15" on sale for $899 last month. Sadly, now it is $999 for the same laptop. Add $75 for 1080p LED display and $25 for facial recognition camera.
