Dual Boot Pro - Error When I Check for Updates
I am running Dual Boot Pro 1.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
When I click File -> Chcek for Updates, I always get the error message "There was an error while attempting to check for an update. The server may be busy. Please try back soon."
This error occurs whether I have my Norton Internet Security firewall turned on or turned off.
Questions
1. How do I eliminate this error?
2. Is there a newer version of Dual Boot Pro than version 1.0?
Re: Dual Boot Pro - Error When I Check for Updates
I will let the support folks answer your first question, but I can answer the second. Currently DBP 1.0.0 is the most up to date public build we have available, so you're up to date.

Did the Support Guys' ever come up with the answer to this question regarding the Update error message? I have always had this same problem. So it would be great to get rid of the annoyance!!!

I'm going to point Jason toward this one. He is or programmer of DBP.

algypalgy,
It is a long story but the server that hosted the update file is no more. We are working on getting a better update feature within DBP. It shouldn't be much longer and I believe a public announcement will be made. Not sure if a mass email will be sent out too but we will do our best to make sure everyone is aware of the update.
