vista boot problem

vista boot problem

I have a acer laptop with vista as primary os, ubuntu was installed on secondary partion. what i need to know is how to remove the ubuntu from the boot menu, I have tride to use bcdedit and no luck. I installed this program to delet it but it keeps showing up in the boot menu. how do I go about eleminating ubutu ahd vae only vista in boot manager
