Dual Boot Windows 7 on Two sata drives in the same computer

Postby rclarke6 » Sat Dec 05, 2009 6:44 pm

I purchased a new computer from Dell with Windows 7 Home Preimum on a 750 Gig Sata Drive. My old computer was running Windows 7 Ultimate on a 500 Gig sata drive. The power supply went out on the old computer and i want to install that hard drive in my new computer along with its hard drive and dual boot to both hard drives with seperate versions of windows 7 as stated above. The new computer is windows 7 home preimum 64 bit, and the old one is windows 7 ultimate 32 bit,. can this be done?

You will have to reinstall Windows 7 ultimate due to two different computers.

You can certainly install the harddrive and access it and the info on it, just make sure it is not listed as the boot drive in the bios
