VMWare Player 3.0 beta

VMWare Player 3.0 beta

Man, is this thing ever sweet! ^*^ The software itself is way faster to install and load, and is very easy to configure plus it has 4 CPU support as opposed to two with the regular one! Also better W7 support. I don't know how long the beta is good for nor if they will charge for it though their current player is a free offering. Give it a shot! :yesnod:

(BTW, I use this for quad folding and it is great, pins all the CPU cores yet allows normal operation. I'll post a short tut for the quad folders in a few days.)

VMWare player is nice, but I still prefer VirtualBox since its a free virtualization app that can do basically anything VMWare can (and more).

I've used VBox and liked it but my folding was unstable running Ubuntu client so I ditched it only for that reason. I wasn't alone either, there were a lot of more experienced folk than I that couldn't get it functioning properly for our needs. We're just waiting for the next release.
