How can I remove administration sign from desktop icons?

The only way that I know of is to disable UAC. However, even if you do this, it has been noted that it still happens sporadically. Unless someone else has found another way to do this.

Giving the idea(tx) of disabling uac I tried this:Just type in secpol.msc into the Start menu search box and hit enter.Now browse down to Local Policies \ Security Options and Change the setting to “Elevate without prompting”. You should be all done.Find the following in the list: “User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode” and double-click on it.My friend so far they'r gone.tyvm
