Hi I am using Windows RC1(Built 7100) i find this OS so stable now i have completely swithced to 7 from xp, but i am not sure when this will expire since this is evaluation version. I downloaded it from MS site ..Does updating to RC2 or the final version is out i would have to format my windows 7and reinstall it or i can update the existing RC1..

There is no RC2 build and the RTM build is available via MSDN/TechNet already and will be released for sale on Oct. 22nd. You may be able to do an upgrade install from RC1, but it isn't recommended since the RC is still a beta product. The RC will expire on June 1, 2010. More info

There is no RC 2 coming so 7100 is the last one as RTM is already out. As of March 1st, it will stop working and only give you 2 hours a session basically making it useless. Official dead date is June or July 1st.

Hi Mike right if i remember ....

sweet, i will continue to use 7 then and by that time final built will be out .

Since i have used 7 ultimate , can u tell me whats not in professional or home edition .
