Re: How to use System File Checker (sfc.exe) in Windows XP
In the Houston computer repair company that I work, I found today that a laptop was not working at all. The problem is that I cannot access Install or Unistall Programs, Msconfig, or sfc /scannow. Every time that I try to run those programs it just go to Open With....window, or C:\Windows\System32\rundll.exe Application not found. I tried on the by going to run section and by the task manager. But everything is the same. My question is that somebody knows where is the sfc.exe program located in Windows or Windows CD. Because that is the only way I can run it, just directly.
