Windows 7 build 7231 & 7260 VHD install screen shots

Hi everyone, I've been trying out the Win7 VHD operating system.

I installed this (VHD OS) from Win7 build 7201 x86 & hit the desktop in 10 minutes, a new record for me. It activated using a public "Beta" Key.

Here are some screen shots of what I have found in this build.

It's a pity the above screenys are chopped off on the right side, must be a 600-650 pix max viewable width I suppose.

I am really looking forward to the VHD option in Windows 7, it sounds like a very useful feature for setting up & saving the operating system (preconfigured) for testing apps on.
Especially if one will have all the PC RAM available to that OS when booting into it, too bad about the Storage Performance not being able to be tested.

This VHD looks like it uses 40GB of space, seems like the last bootable VHD only used 20GB, I wonder why that was changed & if its fixed.

Here is some info in VHD's

Edit:
It has been said that Windows 7 will have built in support for VHD and will even allow a VHD to be booted.

That time has arrived ^*^

Further to the Windows 7 build 7260 install, a few photos & screen shot

During my VHD install I flubbed-up something & received this error window after restarting the PC after entering the code in the admin. Command Prompt.
Boot Menu Error added a extra boot step

Boot Menu now after VistaBootPRO 3.3 "Debug the boot process" fixed it, thank you PROnetworks for the great tool.
