Help with 8400 GS card
A friend of mine son bought this card to play some game
the card is GeForce 8400 GS 512mb PCI, his computer is an emachines t 3522, with 4GB of memory...
He's tried everything i could find on the internet and on the games public forums. They are saying the average FPS is 20-40, with more being better.
He's barely getting 9FPS, and the game lags very badly
Game Over!!!!!!!!

What size is the PS in that thing?
If its 300W it may be underpowered.

I just looked up the PS over here
Looke like it has a: Power Supply: PS, 300 Watt
He may need more power for his new card.

It probably has slower memory than most desktop systems that card would be put into as well as the processor not being as quick with calculations.

Depending on his game, there may also be some tweaks he can do such as in COD4. I play COD4 with several config tweaks and IF I want to I can crank almost 500 fps. I limit mine to 125 so I can get a steady 125. the naked eye cna not see over 60 anyway.
