Need help with memory timings
hey guys, i just got a new system and i need some help with the memory timings.

this is the memory i have. DDR3
This is the motherboard i have:

I have these settings that i can change:
-Can't change this part *System Memory Speed 1066mhz *Current memory setting 6-6-6-16
***This part i can change:
Reference Freq - Default
Memory Freq. - 1066
tCL - 6
tRCD - 6
tRP - 6
tRASmin - 16
TWR - 8
tRFC - 48
tWTR - 4
tRRD - 4
tRTP - 4
Memory Voltage - 1.550
Any advice?

That memory calls for 1.9v I would change that first and see what it does to the timings

i'll give that a shot. i tried installing vista and it keeps erroring out on me, due to a memory error.

Yes it will do that especially if the memory is not getting enough volts which at 1.55v it is not, 1.9v should give you the correct timing or at least a lot closer than what you have

yeah, that solved that problem. Should i set the frequency to 1333mhz now?

It should accept at least that setting since it is 1600MHz memory, so you can try it, what is it saying the MHz is now

its set at 1066mhz now. the highest the bios is letting me go is 1333mhz. i am loading the drivers now, so i am going to try 1333mhz.

ok, i changed the freq. to 1333mhz and it wouldn't post. i'll probably have to adjust the timings on it in order to get 1333. any thoughts? btw, thanks for the advice so far!

You might try kicking the voltage up and see if it posts
