Edit
OK i did not register i will do it now
Great man, you're on your way then. I have since edited the guide with the registering part being needed and that the Ubuntu terminal commands are case sensitive so far. I'll be reviewing it again to make sure there are no other pitfalls to be wary of.

Re: UBUNTU Virgin
OK it's loaded but i need to know how to get into the BIOs to enable virtualization (this is an area where i have never been)
I have tried all the F keys plus delete and ctrl when booting but nothing lets me in?

Re: UBUNTU Virgin
Skip the BIOS for now, if you can't get it going then we'll go that route. Apparently, it's not many systems that require this. I'm just copying what others said. Sorry for the delay in replying, I needed breakfast.
BTW, getting into BIOS should be explained in your manual or at least on the HP site.

Already done with. I'll leave the dishes for later. I'll be here now.

Re: UBUNTU Virgin
Hmm, hang in there Bill as this is new to me. I'll go and check the error 152 for VMWare. BTW, did you burn the Ubuntu disk as an ISO? That is key as just burning it as a data CD will not work as it has to be bootable.
EDIT, OK you better go to HP's site and see if you can enable VT on your rig. Perhaps post a thread in hardware to see if anyone knows the BIOS. Post your exact model and I might be able to find something for you so's I can find a manual explaining your BIOS, they must have that online.
