FAH Monitor

Postby yeshuas » Mon Jan 12, 2009 6:06 pm

I am giving Windows 7 a try with Folding, and am trying to use the FAH Monitor, but when I point it to the FAH directory, I don't see that it is picking up on the client files etc. actually I am not seeing any files there either so maybe Windows 7 puts them somewhere else.
Any idea what the extension for the correct client file would be????? So I know what to do a search for.

You just point it to the installation directory. I have it installed to C:\folding so I have FAHMon watching that directory and it automatically picked up the WU data.

Hmm, I would assume that the same client would have to be in the same place as in Vista.

That is what I thought too but there is nothing in that folder on any of the drives, so that is why I thought if I knew a file extension, I could do a search or something :bashhead

Search for 'folding@home-win32-GPU' That's the executable file.
