installing gOS

Postby DEVILSAN » Sat Dec 06, 2008 10:08 am

Hi i downloaded gOS gadget and burnt it onto disc, but now if i try to boot from my primary OS(windows xP) loads up.. I have set my primary boot to CDROM even though CD rom boots up windows XP instead of running self, few months i fixed my MBR with Graphical Boot manager i got from Ultimate Boot CD, now as i temporarily removed it i am unable to boot to XP but inserting any bootable OS CD boots me to XP, leaving me unable to run Bootable CD for installing any OS as it just boot to XP, i am confused what went wrong, and what needs to be corrected,

i think you should restore your mbr through windows. hoping that setting your first boot option to the hard that host windows xp instead of cd-rom. get one problem sorted out first before embarking on installing another os
