Any alternatives to HD Tach for benching disks?

Any alternatives to HD Tach for benching disks?

Hi all,

I've used a neat little program, called HD Tach to benchmark the speeds of my hard disks and flash disks for a couple of years. However, I'd like a program that can test read speeds AND write speeds. The free version of Hd Tach does not bench write speeds at all... and the paid version that does is no longer for sale :roleeyes .

So my question to you gusy is: Can you recommend any decent disk benching programs that test read AND write speeds? Please note it must be able to do removeable disks (such as flash drives), too.

- Thanks! ^*^

PC Wizard 2008 is freeware and does provide some basic HDD benchmarking:
