ASUS P5Q3 and OCZ3P16002GK

What garbage this ASUS board is! I knew there was a reason why I didn't want another asus board after the last one. The QVL for this board has disappeared...I suppose that was smart of them considering there is not one set of DDR3-1600 RAM on the market that will run on this board!!

I've had to resort to running my 1600 RAM at 1333 just to get a stable windows environment. It passes memtest with these settings but cannot hold stable while running Prime.

UGHHHH! I have never been this aggravated before. Hopefully my requests for help at the OCZ support forums will get me answer as to how to get this memory to run smoothly.
sighhhhh

You'll find the QVL on page 2-14 of the English Version Online Manual.

This might be relevant: "* DDR3 1600 MHz or above DIMMs work only on the Orange slots for one DIMM per channel".

Well I was saying ti used to be right on the site...not hidden in the manual. You could click the QVL link and it would just open for you.

I'm not the only person who has had major problems with this board....i have resorted to running only 2 of the 4 sticks in the orange slots as well...

You must be totally p'd off with them Steve. I wonder if there's any chance OCZ will exchange your RAM for a series that is known to work? They're really good with RMA's...not sure how they'd view your situation though.
