Homeplug

Homeplug

Postby Chippychap » Thu Sep 25, 2008 2:37 pm

Hi Guys, can anyone give me a heads-up on these doodads that turn your household wiring into a conduit for your Broadband reception?
Stuff like do the plugs need to be in a socket on their own or can it be on the end of a plug-in extension?
Can I plug it in a two-way adaptor with something else?
Sorry to be a timid tommy, and the Homeplug is the way I intend to go, but just would like to do it right.
thanks guys.

i have a pair that work brilliantly, although you can't use them on a power strip they are great if you can plug them directly into the wall.

about the extension, i think it does work as long as it is the only thing plugged into the extension, but i'm not sure as i was having trouble with my network adapter at the time.
