Don't forget, if you don't want to take a screen shot of your whole desktop, just the program that is out front, press Alt-Prt Scr. When you paste the picture into Paint, it will only be the program in front, not your whole desktop.

Found a nice FREE program for screen capture that I have used for years that has many more features its called SCREENHUNTER and is available from this link http://wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm and yes, it is labelled as Vista capable though I can not vouch for that as I am not running Vista. Latest version is #5 Sweet find for me hope is for you guys too
