in VB6 (as stated in attachment), it has grid on forms by default
i'm facing problems on placing objects on VB2005
is there any way to enable grid in VB2005 just like in VB6?

Here is what you need to do.

Go to Tools -> Options -> Windows Forms Designer -> Layout Settings

This will allow you to change how controls "snap" to the form or other controls.
