I need a script...

Postby Xstream » Tue Jul 17, 2007 5:02 pm

I need a way for "tech challenged" people to send me photos for a slideshow presentation I'm building.
In other words, these people can't spell ftp much less use it, lol.
So I currently have this
http://www.kevincastleberry.com/upload.php
using a script written by Pronet member Weaver a long time ago. It works great, but only allows 1 item uploaded at a time.
I need something that will allow multiple uploads at once.
I tried online photo sharing sites, but they all resize the images, and since I am going to blow them up to 8 feet by 8 feet, I need good image quality.

any suggestions?
Or Weaver ( John ) if you see this and can modify the script, please let me know.
thanks !

I can't post my code so I can't be of much help.

Basically you will need to make sure the forms enctype is "multipart/form-data".

Add multiple file fields and make the name an array (name="myArray[]").

Then at the part of your code prior to the upload use a for or foreach statement so that each file is is dealt with individually. Hope that makes some sense...
