Web Hosting Recommendations

I'm looking at getting my own webhost to host various stuff of mine, mostly pictures, but other stuff as well that I've worked on over the past few years at college. I did do everything on my own and via the school's web hosting that I got for free, but now I can't host my own site anymore as Comcast doesn't allow it :dontgetit I was looking at DreamHost at the moment as they have a nice package as far as storage and bandwidth are concerned. I'm looking for something that is less than $10 a month preferably. I don't really need email hosting or anything to be included as I'm going to go with Google Apps or Windows Live domains for that. I mainly only need PHP/MySQL, and would prefer to have Apache hosting on a Linux/Unix server if possible, so the requirements are pretty basic.

I've heard 1&1 is pretty good.

I'm not hosting anything with them again. I had to cancel my domain that I got for free twice, and they still charged me for the second year :x Their customer support was also anything but helpful.

And I was actually looking at Lunar Pages as their basic package looks pretty nice.

I like 1&1 as well. Never had any problem with them.
