I haven't followed this one too closely............ looking at the images makes me wonder if one of your HDD's is SATA and the other one IDE....??

Copy the files from drive F: to drive C:
ntldr

NTDETECT

Reboot and try it

Ufortunately when I do that I get the following error when I boot into XP
"<Windows> System32\hal.dll file missing or corrupt.

The three files for XP have to be on both your system drive and XP drive.

The boot.ini file, what does it look like now that you reinstalled XP.

BTW you could have installed XP without unplugging the hard drive and just used VistaBootPro to restore you Vista Bootloader and it should have worked right away

I'm waiting on my friend to get back to look at the boot.ini. I am not the best with them. At first glance I would say that rdisk(0) needs to be rdisk(1) since it is on your disk 1.

Well guys finally "Sucess" what can I say your patience and dedication is unbelievable. I now have a fully functional Dual operating system, thank you all especially Daniel . Finally the mistake I had been making all along although I am a liittle bit embarressed to admit it was " You know when you guys asked me to edit the Boot.ini file silly me edited both of them.

I just changed the rdisk from 0 to 1 on both lines.
