Reinstall Vista in dual boot

Postby shteinb » Thu Feb 22, 2007 5:15 am

Hi,
It looks like my Vista is totally screwed. I restarted my machine after changing what the search should index. However upon reboot all i got was a black screen and a mouse cursor(which I could move). It almost feels like the OS is running under the blackness, but theres nothing I can do. Amazingly Vista made no restore points and I was also shocked to learn there is no repair install option from the Vista DVD as there was in XP.

I am running a XP and Vista dual boot(Vista is the system partition). Can I reinstall Vista without issues?
