VistaBootPRO install question

Postby NY2NV » Mon Dec 25, 2006 7:56 pm

I currently have XP MCE 2005, Can I Install VistaBootPRO before I install Vista? Would I be able to install Vista on my 2nd drive (G-Drive) and leave XP MCE where it is on my C drive, and use VistaBootPRO to choose which to boot?

You don't need VistaBootPro(VBP) to install Vista. Just pop the DVD in, point it to the drive you want and let it run. If you get problems dual booting, then you may need to install it. Our experts will guide you. Good luck and enjoy.

BTW, don't use a 3rd party partition manager, as they are not yet compatible with Vista's version of NTFS. Use XP's manager.
