Weird Registry Cleaner

Postby blodger14 » Tue Nov 21, 2006 6:21 pm

has anyone heard of a registry cleaner called "Ultimate Cleaner"

it seems a bit dodgy because everytime i log on it tells me how many registry problems i have, and it seems to have installed itself.

its not like a usual virus popup as it has an installed directory and its also in my start menu?

help is greatly appreciated thanks!

Ya, that comes from a drive-by active-x adware install. Grab Spybot S @ D, install, update and run in safe mode. Items marked in red should be removed.
