Windows Vista Clean Install to NEW HDD


Having just bought a brand new Western Digital 160 GB SATA II Hard Drive for a friend, I had a perfect opportunity to test how Vista would behave when installed as a first time stand alone Operating System to an un-partitioned un-formatted HDD.

After confirming that the drive was set correctly in the BIOS, I inserted the Windows Vista DVD and rebooted. Windows Vista Setup starting running immediately, without the need to
