browsing domains as opposed to every single pc in the forest

hi all!

okay, so how can i view the network like in xp? what i mean is: in xp, you right-click 'my computer' and select 'explore.' then expand 'my network places.' then expand 'entire network.' then expand 'microsoft windows network.' from there, you see a list of all the domains in the forest. (i work at ucla. the root is ucla.edu and there are hundreds of domains under that. i manage only a few of them).

in vista (rc1), you don't see anything if network discovery is off. but if it's on, it just lists every single freaking pc it can find on the whole freakin' campus, without discretion. this is just so unwanted and unnecessary, i can't believe it. but, the way things are laid out now (god, i hate the new network view!! maybe i'll get used to it in like 5 years...), i can't find any way to make this behave the way i want, which is: just show me the roots of the domains, like in xp. if i want to discover deeper, i'll expand it, right? who's with me? c'mon guys, you know i'm right!

thx!
