I just got this in my email. Note the web address when I mouse over the URL.

I get about two of those a day, and I hate those stupid things. Most of them look very real.

Same here, most of the time, they don't even come to the email address I have registered with Paypal.

That one caused me to pause too( I I got the same one.), there are so many and they are getting very clever... I think I even pumped the link into <b>idserve</b> to check.
A rubber band pistol was confiscated from algebra class because it was a weapon of math disruption.

i went to the Ip and did a ping on it , there are 9 servers at the location of this scam.. lol

dont ask me here how i did that.

Thanks! That's what I did. It did look very real, and only had one small grammatical error although it could have been a mistake they may have made anyway. "Verify" should have said "Verifying." :P

Please do not enter any personal or financial information into this

fraudulent website, you should immediately log in to your PayPal account
and change your password and security question and answer information.
Any compromised financial information should be reported to the
appropriate parties.

Please forward the entire email - including the header information - or
the site's URL to spoof@paypal.com We investigate every spoof reported.
Please note that the automatic response you receive from us may not
address you by name.

If you notice any unauthorized activity associated with your PayPal
transaction history, please immediately report this to PayPal by
following the instructions below:

1. Log in to your account at htpps://www.paypal.com
2. Click on the Security Center at the bottom of the page.
3. Click on "Unauthorized Transaction" under the "Report a Problem"
column.
4. Enter the Transaction ID for each unauthorized transaction in your

LOL, that almost looks like a canned response. It looks identical to the one I got months ago.

funny thing is that they have a link messed up in their response email, they have htpps instead of https :lol:
